MOHD MAJID MALIK
BHADERWAH,MAR 27— The students of BA/B.Sc of Government Degree College Bhaderwah today hold strong protest and demonstration against the 1st semester result declared by Jammu university recently in which maximum students have been failed or repaired . Early in the morning hundreds of students assembled inside the main gate of college and started a procession which after passing through various markets reached in the premises of historical Seri Bazaar Bhaderwah where a strong protest and demonstration held . The students claim that “this was not a subjective case since maximum students of the arts , medical and non medical stream of college were failed even toppers are repaired . Though the choice of revaluation and re-checking exists in the university but the students argue that such a “massive failure” of students indicates some error on the part of those responsible for checking. The students also state that this is a ‘catch-22″ situation for them as even if they apply for revaluation or rechecking, the result will be awarded only by May which then comes of no use to us since admission procedures will be closed in Jammu University as well as in many other universities for higher courses. Some students further said. The students have also claimed that similar situation has been reported by their friends and fellow students in other Jammu University colleges of Chenab valley like Doda , Ramban and Gundoh.
