Gang of thieves busted in Bhaderwah, two arrested

Bhaderwah: Police achieved a breakthrough by arresting two thieves from Bhalla area of Bhaderwah and recovered 13 mobile phones and other electronic gadgets from their possession worth thousands .Addressing a jam packed press conference here today SDPO Bhaderwah Birjesh Sharma said from some months theft cases were on rise in whole Bhalla area and said to stop the rising incidents of thefts, a team was constituted under ASI Ajay Kumar Chowki officer Bhalla to arrest these accused. He said that the police team had put all the stolen cell phones on surveillance and they got a secret tip off that Muzaffer Hussain s/o Irshad Ahmed R/o khaila tehsil Bhalla and Bashir Ahmed S/o Masser Din R/o Dabra tehsil Bhalla were present near some shops in Bhalla market in the intervening night and preparing for some robbery. Thereafter, the police conducted a raid and arrested the accused he said adding that Police recovered from them 13 mobile phones ,3 charger , 2 ear phones ,1 UPS ,1 room heater and 1 battery . He said the total cost of the material recovered by the police is Rs 55000.“With the recovery of stolen items police solved a big theft case ”, Sharma added. .He said a case of theft has been registered at the Bhaderwah police station and an investigation has been initiated and whole operation was personally monitored by SHO Bhaderwah Jatinder Singh Sambyal , ASP Bhaderwah Shezad Salaria under the close supervision of SSP Doda Mohd Shabir Khatana .
