Srinagar, Jul 2 : Three National Lok Adalats will be held to amicably solve cases of different nature on July 8 in Kashmir valley, an official spokesman said here today.
He said that according to Chairman District Legal Services Authority Bandipora, a National Lok Adalat will be held in the district on July 8, 2017.
During the Lok Adalat, he said cases relating to Bank recovery, Labour disputes, Electricity and water bills, matrimonial, //IMotor Accident Claims Tribunal (//IMACT), civil and criminal service matters, revenue cases etc will be taken up for hearing and settlement.
“The interested litigants have been informed to approach the trial courts to get their cases fixed in the National Lok Adalat on the scheduled date for resolution of disputes,” he said.
Meanwhile, he said a National Lok Adalat will be held under the chairmanship of the District Legal Services Authority, Kulgam, in the court premises of the District Court Kulgam on July 8, 2017.
“Cases pertaining to criminal compoundable offence, Negotiable Instruments Act, bank recovery cases, matrimonial disputes, labour disputes, land acquisition cases, electricity and water bills, service matters relating to pay, allowances and retirement benefits, revenue cases among other civil cases, will be taken up during the Lok Adalat.
“All those interested have been asked to approach the Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Kulgam, along with particulars of the cases before July 8,” he added.
According to District Legal Services Authority, Shopian, a Lok Adalat is to be held on July 8, 2017 at District Court Complex Shopian. In this connection, the litigants who want to solve their dispute (cases) amicably through the said LokAdalat can list their cases up to 7th July 2017 before the Lok Adalat and shall feel free to contact Chairman District Legal Services Authority & Principal and District Sessions Judge Shopian.
