Bali Bhagat lays foundation stone of doctors’ quarters in Bhaderwah ,Launches Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan
BHADERWAH,OCT 02: Minister also laid foundation stone of doctors’ and paramedical quarters near new Sub District Hospital ,Dandi Bhaderwah to be constructed at an estimated cost of 190.85 lakhs.DDC Doda Bhuwani Rakhwal , ADC Bhaderwah Imam Din, BMO Dr Yudvir Singh and other officers were also present on the occasion .Later Minister for Health and Medical Education, Bali Bhagat also launched ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ in Bhaderwah town of Doda district here to commemorate birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.Senior Officers from local administration included Executive Officer MCB Mohd Ashraf Zargar , BDO Dr Yudvir Singh Kotwal , District president BJP Doda Adv Manjeet Razdan , Incharge Swach Bharat wing Doda Sanjay Saraf , Raj Singh Charak , Koshal Kotwal , besides sweepers from Municipal Committee participated in the drive.Speaking on the occasion, the Minister paid rich tributes to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi and said the objective of the ‘’Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’’ launched by Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi is to make India a clean and healthy country.The Minister said it is not only the responsibility of Safai Karamcharis to keep our surroundings clean but every citizen has to contribute in this noble mission. He called upon the people to keep their localities clean for a healthy life. The Minister said ‘Clean India’ campaign will be the best tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary.He said that such celebrations would go a long way in inculcating a sense of having clean and pollution-free environment in the State. He said the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan envisioned by the Prime Minister would be instrumental in promoting hygiene. He appealed the people, students, colleges, NGOs to participate actively in the activities undertaken during the week to make it a success.Talking to media person Minister informed that within days all vacant posts of doctors should be filled in SDH Bhaderwah and also said strict action will be taken against unauthorized absentee doctors .
