Burglars loot cosmetics shop in Rainawari, decamp with goods and cash, Jewelry stolen in another incident at Magam

Srinagar: Burglars looted a cosmetic shop during the intervening night of October 2 and 3 in Srinagar’s Rainwari area.
Reports reaching Kashmir Press Service, thieves broke into the shop of Mehfooz ul Asal Shawl namely ‘Needs’ and decamped with the goods worth lakhs including cash rupees 19000 and other valuables.
The shop owner said that he has lodged an FIR No. 96/2017 into the burglary case. Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) conducted the preliminary investigation and has taken the fingerprints from the spot of burglary.
Reports say that the CCTV cameras were installed in the shop but were tampered with by the burglars before looting the shop.
The owner have appealed the police to trace out the culprits as soon as possible and brought them to book.
Meanwhile, Station House Officer (SHO) J.P Singh has assured to nab the culprits as soon as possible.
In another case, thieves stole jewelry worth laks of rupees from the house of ETV news channel reporter, Muneer Ahmad in Magam area. Police has started the investigation into the incident. (KPS)
