Shutdown continues in Pulwama for second day
Srinagar, Jan 2 : Life remained crippled due to Shutdown for the second day on Tuesday in South Kashmir district of Pulwama, where five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were Killed and three Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militants were killed in a fierce encounter after a group of fidayeen stormed into a camp in the wee hours of Sunday.
Shops and business establishments remained closed in the district, including main town Pulwama, and Awantipora though there was no Shutdown call from any organisation.
Reports of complete shutdown have also been received from Awantipora and other areas in the district.
Shops and business establishments remained closed and traffic was off the roads.
Work in government offices and banks was also affected due to Shutdown.
