Srinagar, Jun 11 : Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday said that the stakeholders including separatists should grab the golden opportunity of talks to ensure peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the KNS correspondent, talking to reporters after inaugurating the newly constructed Mehjoor Nagar Bridge, the chief Minister said that there is no military solution to Kashmir.
“This is a golden opportunity and all the stakeholders including separatists should grab it if they want to end the bloodshed bring normalcy in Kashmir,” she said.
She added that everything including the development, education for students and things are at stake due unresolved issue. “Even we can’t deliver what we are supposed or trying to,” she added.
“We can’t have the powerful leadership like PM Modi again in the future but we also can’t force to anyone for talks. We all should come forward to ensure peace in the State,” the chief Ministry said.
She further said that such practice was witnessed in the past as well that too in the tenure of BJP. “The ceasefire was once again announced after several years. We should niot let this opportunity go,” she added. (KNS)
