Nitish Kumar meets Amit Shah soon after his arrival

Patna, Jul 12 :  BJP chief Amit Shah was given a tumultuous welcome on his arrival at Jai Prakash Narain International Airport by a large number of party leaders and workers here today even as Chief Minister and JD (U) president Nitish Kumar met him at the state guest house soon after.
Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, state BJP president Nityanand Rai, road construction minister Nand Kishore Yadav and several senior BJP leaders welcomed Mr Shah at the airport.
The women wing of state BJP welcomed Mr Shah in a traditional way.
Later, Mr Shah drove straight to state guest house where Mr Kumar reached later to meet him.
Deputy chief minister Mr Modi, state BJP president Mr Rai and senior party leaders were present on the occasion. Mr Shah took morning refreshments with Mr Kumar at the state guest house later.
Several mediapersons were present at the state guest house.
According to the itinerary of Mr Shah, he would meet BJP leaders, booth workers and other members at Gyan Bhawan. He would take feedback from party leaders and workers on the preparations for 2019 Lok Sabha election.
Mr Shah would have dinner with Mr Kumar at the latter`s official residence 1, Anne Marg.
