Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police today recovered an abducted girl and arrested the accused in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
A police spokesperson here today said that Police Station Ashmuqam received a complaint from a person that his daughter was kidnapped by one Bilal Ahmad Dar.
He said case was registered and investigation was taken up to trace the whereabouts of the abducted girl.
After following various leads and using latest technology, the girl was recovered and the accused was arrested from Halpora Vailoo Kokernag.
After completing all legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her parents.
