KULGAM : Police claims to have achieved success after strenuous efforts by busting a gang of thieves in Kulgam.
Giving details SSP Kulgam Shridhar Patil told Media that many momplaints were received by Kulgam Police regarding house breaking during night hours. “Thieves had stolen many house hold goods and electronic gadgets and ornaments from the residential houses. A Special Police team was constituted to nab the thieves”, he said.
He said that the team comprising of SHO P/S Qazigund & D.O Mir Bazar under the supervision of SDPO Qazigund. Adding that after strenuous efforts police achieved Success and a gang of thieves was busted and all the six thieves were arrested.
“Stolen goods worth lakhes of rupees were recovered on the instance of the accused”, he said. He said that the arrested thieves have been identified as :

Hassan Shah resident of Sopat Devsar, Waseem Ahmad Sheikh Son of Mohd Makbool Sheikh resident of Hablishi Devsar,Sandeep Sharma Son of Sriram Sharma resident of Muzaffar Nagar
