Tral : A programme on ninth death anniversary of famous Kashmiri poet Rajab Hamid was held on Sunday in Satoora area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Large number of people from different parts of valley including some members of Jammu and Kashmir Cultural academy, participated in the programme.
The Versus of Quran pak and ‘Naat’ were recited in the beginning of the programme.
Reports said that ‘Shab Khwani’ (nightlong prayers) were held from the last evening.
“Mehfil e Mausiki” was also held in the programme for full day with the support of Cultural academy , according to the Rajab Hamid Memorial Trust Members.
