Ganderbal: Residents of Chinar Colony Wayil In Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District on Tuesday staged protest against the Power Development Department (PDD) claimed that they are reeling under darkness from past one week
According to reports the protestors blocked Srinagar Leh Highway Road and raised slogans against PDD , and demanding immediate restoration of electric supply which according to protesters is their right as they are paying Electricity Fee on time.
Scores of vehicles were stranded on road as protesters didn’t allowed them to move,a local resident said.
“When Contacted Ex.PDD Ganderbal he Didn’t Respond despite frequent Calls as Phone was Ringing Continuously .”
They have requested the higher authorities to look into the matter so that Chinar Colony Wayil Village will not face problems in future.
