Come out of gory images created by media about Kashmir, Mehbooba to JMI students
Srinagar: Asking the students of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi to come out of the gory images created by some television channels about the valley, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said Kashmir is the safest place in the country for women to visit.
An official spokesperson said a group of students from Jamia Millia Islamia, who are on a visit to the Valley, met Ms Mehbooba here today.
Welcoming the group, the Chief Minister advised them to utilize their stay in the Valley in exploring its beauty and the hospitable nature of its residents.
She also asked the students to visit various universities here and interact with their counterparts.
Ms Mehbooba suggested the students to visit the breath taking Badam Vaeri, which is full with blossoms of almonds, peach and cherry.
The Chief Minister asked the visiting students group to come out of the gory images created by some television channels about Kashmir. She said Kashmir is the safest place in the country for women to visit and asked the students to come here again with their families and friends.
Professor Tasneem Meenai, Dean Students Welfare, is accompanying the students group during its trip to the Valley.
