Chenab valley to get 90 MV transformer in Khelani Doda
After installing 90 MV transformer the problem of low voltage and power fluctuations in twin districts will be resolved

JAMMU,APR 17—To address the problem of low voltage and power fluctuations in Chenab valley especially in Doda , Bhaderwah , Bhalessa , Thatri and some parts of Kishtwar Power development Department next week will install 90MV capacity power transformer in Khelani grid station of Doda by replacing 40MV transformer to enable an even and sufficient electricity supply. A senior official from the power department said that the MLA Doda Shakti Raj Parihar last year sanctioned rupees 70 Lakh from his Constituency Development Fund for upgrading and replacing the old transformer and installation of new 90 MV transformer, he said adding that work of installing the transformer is expected to complete within a week .PDD shall oversee the work. With reformation of the electric grid system and up gradation of transformer to 90 MV , the gap between demand and supply would be reduced .” When this Journalist Mohd Majid Malik contacted MLA Doda Shakti Raj Parihar he informed that 90 MV capacity transformer will be installed at Khelani grid within few days as the upgraded transformer reached at grid station today and last year he provided money to PDD from his Constituency Development Fund .After installing 90 MV transformer the problem of low voltage and power fluctuations in Doda ,Thartri , Bhalessa , Bhaderwah and some areas of Kishtwar will be resolved . “He also criticized the previous Congress representatives of Chenab valley and alleged that they failed to upgrade the transformer of Khelani grid station which supply power to maximum constituencies of Chenab valley which included Bhaderwah , Doda , Kishtwar and Inderwal.He said BJP believes in action and not in lip work and soon whole Doda constituency will be developed as a model constituency and CM Mehbooba Mufti is visiting Doda to inaugurate many precious projects .
