NC condoles demise of Ali Mohammed Naik
JAMMU APRIL 22- Provincial President National Conference Mr Devender Singh Rana has expressed deep grief over the passing away of veteran party leader and former minister Mr Ali Mohammed Naik, describing him a dedicated leader who left an indelible mark of selfless service towards people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“The state has lost a leader of high political and administrative acumen”, Mr Rana said while recalling his contribution in various capacities as a minister and Speaker of Legislative Assembly. He said Mr Naik was a keen political observer and remained active till his end.
He conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, a condolence meeting was held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here to pay tributes to Mr Naik.
The speakers threw light on his political career and recalled his immense contribution towards the people, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, region and religion.
A 2-minute silence was observed as a mark of respect to the departed leader.
