Shabir Shah pays tributes to Amanullah Khan

 

Says his contribution to freedom movement is invaluable

Srinagar, April 26: The incarcerated chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah on Wednesday paid glowing tributes to one of the great leaders of the freedom movement of Kashmir, Amanullah Khan, on his first anniversary.

In a statement issued to press, Shah said the Late Amanullah Khan dedicated his whole life fighting for the freedom of Jammu Kashmir and remained steadfast on his mission till last breath.

“The role played by Amanullah Khan Sahib and Shaheed Mohammad Maqbool Bhat for the freedom struggle of Jammu Kashmir is invaluable. The contribution of both leaders will be written in golden words,” he said.

Shah while recalling his meetings with both leaders said he was influenced by their ideas and impressed by their pro-freedom spirit. He also prayed for highest place in Jannah for both leaders.

Meanwhile, on the directions of Shabir Ahmad Shah, a party delegation comprising secretary general Moulana Abdullah Tari, Molvi Bashir Ahmad Shah, and Er Farooq Ahmad Khan visited the residence of the former president of Jamiat Ahle Hadith Jammu Kashmir, Shaheed Moulana Showkat Ahmad Shah, whose mother passed away on Monday. The delegation expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family.

On the occasion, Moulana Tari extended the condolence message of Shabir Ahmad Shah and shed light on the philosophy of life and death.
