Sopore: In Sopore town, media persons of different organisations were beaten by Sopore police, while they were performing their duties.
While they were trying to cover the Friday clashes, police under SHO of Sopore Mudasir Geelani attacked the photojournalists of Varmul post Eeshan Peer and Mohd Younis of Gulistan injuring them badly.
They not only beat them but abused the media persons of Sopore and chased them away.
If action is not taken against the Sopore police, we will start protest
