Srinagar: Three residential houses were gutted in fire, which broke out in densely populated Dalgate in this summer capital.
An official of the Fire and Emergency Services told UNI that fire broke out in a house in Dalgate this afternoon and quickly spread to adjoining residences.
Fire tenders from different parts of the city were rushed to douse off the leaping flames, clearly visibly from a distance.
However, before the fire was brought under control, three residential houses were completely damaged.
There was no report of any casualty, he said, adding the cause of fire was not known yet.
