PHQ other move police offices resume functioning at Srinagar

 

DGP inspects different police establishments

Srinagar: Police Headquarters and other move offices including Armed Police Headquarters, CID, Security, Crime, Railway, Traffic, Home guards, Police Housing Corporation resumed their functioning at Srinagar, the summer capital of the State today. On the first day the Director General of Police (DGP), Dr. S.P Vaid visited the headquarter offices of different wings, Zonal Police Office, Range Police Office and District Police Office Srinagar.

In the morning, Dr. Vaid was received by senior police officers at PHQ. He was presented a guard of honour by a contingent of Armed Police.

The DGP also chaired a meeting of the heads of different police establishment in the PHQ. The meeting was attended by ADsGP Sh.VK Singh, Sh.Dilbagh Singh, Sh. L Mohanti and Sh. AK Choudhary, IsGP SJM Gillani, Sh. Alok Puri, Sh.MA Khan, Sh. Rajesh Kumar, Sh. Sunil Kumar,Sh. SL Sharma, Sh. Jagjit Kumar, Sh. MA Ganaie, Sh. JP Singh and Sh. SK Gupta, DIsGP Sh. Nissar Ahmad and Sh.GH Bhat, SSP Budgam Sh.Tajinder Singh, AIsGP PHQ Dr. Haseeb Mughal, Sh. Junaid Mehmood, Sh.Mubassir Latifi,Sh. Sameer Rekhi and Sh.Ab. Waheed Shah, SSP Security Kashmir Sh. Maqsood ul Zaman and  Sr. ADO PHQ  Sh. Nasir Ahmad Khan.

In his address the DGP exhorted upon the officers to  redress the grievances of the general public  and directed them to brief the men and officers under their command to provide their best services to the general people and enquire into the complaints brought before them on priority. He inspected different sections of PHQ and was briefed by the  section heads regarding the functioning at Srinagar.
