Srinagar: The Eighteen hour long cordon and search operation that started on Wednesday evening in Seer Jagir area of Tral , finally ends on Thursday morning.
Acting on a specific information, the forces comprising of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) 42 , Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) and its Special Operations Group (SOG) launched a massive manhunt to nab militants who were believed to be hiding in the area.
All entry points leading towards the Seer and adjoining areas were sealed off since Wednesday.
Finally, Cordon concluded peacefully in the area today morning.
