Struggle for which highly educated youth are sacrificing their lives cannot be defeated:Muhammad Yasin Malik
Expresses concern over the plight of Kashmiri inmates languishing in jails and police stations
SRINAGAR:The struggle for which highly educated youth are sacrificing their lives cannot be defeated or subjugated by tyranny, oppression, false propaganda and intimidations. Martyrdom of two youth Ajaz Ahmad Mir of Brath-Kalan and Basharat Ahmad Sheikh of Bomie is continuity of the sacred struggle. This was stated by the chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik in a press statement issued today. Terming the resistance movement of Kashmiris as an exemplary peoples struggle, JKLF chairman said that the struggle that is being nourished by the sacred blood of young and highly educated martyrs cannot be defeated or subjugated by any tyranny, oppression, false propaganda, arrest spree, intimidations and suppression. He said that more the tyranny increases, nearer is its end and today what we are witnessing in Jammu Kashmir is increasing oppression and tyranny which means that its end is near now. He said that the increasing oppression by occupational Indian forces is bound to get stiff resistance from Kashmiris as history stands a witness to the fact that no people’s movement ever has been defeated or subjugated by military might or false propaganda. He said that today on one side Indian forces and police have unleashed a reign of terror against Kashmiris and on the other side a vicious propaganda and intimidations are going on against resistance movement and leadership. Indian bias media has launched a campaign to demonize Kashmiris and all this is intended to defame and defeat Kashmiri resistance movement against illegal Indian occupation. History bears a witness to the fact that no people’s movements has ever been defeated by any oppression and this is why Indian mean tactics also cannot defeat Kashmiri freedom struggle, added Yasin Malik. JKLF chief said that our young and highly educated youth are rendering valuable sacrifices for the freedom of Kashmir. These youth have been tortured, humiliated, oppressed and hence pushed to the wall by Indian occupation and today are compelled to sacrifice lives for truth and freedom. While paying rich tributes to martyred youth of Sopore, JKLF chairman said that the sacrifices of these martyrs will never go in vain and no stone will be left unturned while taking this scared movement to its desired goal. While condemning the ill-treatment meted out to inmates in jails and police stations, JKLF chairman said that thousands have been jailed by so-called biggest democracy and today in the holy month of Ramazan, police stations and jails are filled with Kashmiri prisoners who without the discrimination of age and gender are being terrorized and oppressed during incarceration and even ailing leaders are not being provided with any medical facility. JKLF chairman said that oppression unleashed by Indian occupational forces throughout Kashmir is a testimony to the fact that Kashmir is illegally occupied by India and Kashmiris are being subjected to worst kind of oppression by this so-called biggest democracy.
