NC leaders visit Tulmula, interact with devotees
‘Kashmir’s legacy of amity, brotherhood and unity is timeless’
Tulmula: A delegation of senior leaders of National Conference led by NC Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani on Friday visited Tulmula, Ganderbal during the annual Mata Kheer Bhawani Mela and interacted with devotees and also ascertained the facilities and preparations that had been made.
The delegation consisted of senior party leaders including Former Speaker Mubarak Gul, MLC Ali Mohammad Dar, MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabar, Mohammad Sayed Akhoon, District President Srinagar Peer Mohammad Afaq, Provincial Secretary Advocate Showkat Ahmed Mir, senior leader Dr. Sameer Kaul and NC Minority Cell leader Sardar Jagdish Singh Azad.
NC Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani felicitated the devotees on the auspicious occasion of Mela Kheer Bhawani and said Kashmir’s legacy of brotherhood, amity and sectarian unity was timeless and would continue to define the State’s future and enrich the lives of our future generations.
NC Leader Dr. Sameer Kaul, while interacting with the devotees, hoped the auspicious occasion would be a harbinger of peace and amity in the State and also demanded that the PDP-BJP Government take visible and tangible steps towards ensuring the return and rehabilitation of migrant Kashmir Pandits in the midst of the society where they have co-existed with their Kashmiri Muslim brothers and sisters in amity and brotherhood for ages.
The Senior Leaders also ascertained about the facilities provided by the administration and said no effort should be spared to ensure the devotees face no inconvenience.
