SRINAGAR: A man was killed during a scuffle with this brother over a land dispute in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said here today.
They said two brothers, identified as Abdul Aziz Reshi and Ghulam Hassan Reshi, entered into a heated argument over a land dispute this morning at Chewa Ullar village of Tral.
The argument escalated into a scuffle during which one of the brothers, Abdul Aziz, received serious injuries, they said.
The injured was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead. After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
Police have registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident, they added. (UNI)
