Srinagar, 10 Jun 2017. The mega T-20 Cricket tournament was inaugurated at Sher-E-Kashmir cricket stadium, Srinagar scheduled from 10 to 18 Jun 2017 with eight major clubs from various areas of Srinagar participating in the event. The teams will play 12 league matches followed by semifinals and final for the trophy. The final match along with closing ceremony will be conducted on 18 Jun 2017.
Opening ceremony of the Srinagar T-20 cricket Tournament received an overwhelming response with large crowd. Mr Shubin Lal, Joint Secretary J&K Cricket association acknowledged the event and stated that such events will provide a platform for youth to showcase their talent. Time and again sports have acted as the fillip and the passport to a better life. Tournament will give opportunity to the budding players for participating further at national level tournament.
