KAS aspirants appeal to PM, CM; demand intervention
SRINAGAR: Kashmir Administrative Services aspirants have wrote to President of India about the wrong answers issued in the official key of Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission who according to them are unmoved despite several memorandums.
According to letter forwarded to several dignitaries including President of India reads that the commission conducted combined exams on March 19 and the result for the same was declared on April 23 subsequently. Where in the cut off was declared 270.477. In this regard the aspirants have filled RTI application in the JKPSC on April 24 and have sought the Xerox copies of their OMR sheets, total scores sheets and all the official keys.
However, after their repeated requests Controller examination cum Secretary allowed only one candidate namely Mudasir Ahmad Shah under roll no 1703483 to inspect his OMR sheet and official keys according to which his score was 257.66 against official cut off 270.477. However the aspirants claimed that he has found 11 questions were marked wrong despite correctly marked by him. 5 questions were deleted by the JKPSC which were awarded on pro-rata basis which is injustice according to the candidates. Further 4 more questions in General Studies were also wrong.
The group of candidates have appealed higher authorities to look into their genuine demands so that their future can be saved.
