SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) (H) Chairman Javaid Ahmad Mir in a statement has expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the aunt of APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and daughter of Moulvi Noor-u-din Shah (RA). The deceased was the wife of Late Muhammad Afzal Shawl.
Mir also expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of veteran social figure Abdul Majeed Bhat of Islamabad (Anantnag) the father of great martyr Manzoor ul Islam , martyr Sajad Ahmad and father in law of Shaheed Hilal Ahmad Misgar.
While paying rich tributes to the deceased, Mir said that he was a humble and dedicated person who tolerated many hardships for the freedom of Jammu Kashmir. JKLF chairman said that it was Shaheed Manzoor Ul Islam who pioneered the armed rebellion in Islamabad in 1990 and changed the course of our history. Being father of Shaheed Manzoor Ul Islam, the departed soul and his family always had to tolerate torture, humiliation and oppression at the hands of Indian forces and police but he and his family stood firmly against all odds and made valuable sacrifices for the freedom of Jammu Kashmir.
Javaid Mir condoling the sad demise with both the bereaved families prayed for the departed souls and forbearance of the beraved families.
