SRINAGAR: Police claims that people involved in the killing of DySp Muhammad Ayub Pandith have been identified among two people were arrested.
A police spokesperson as quoted in media reports said that the third has been identified and he will be arrested soon. “All involved will face law” he said.
Muhammad Ayub Pandith, was beaten to death after he was confronted by a group of people in Jamia Masjid compound while he was allegedly picturing youth shouting slogans in favour of ‘Freedom’.
Report said that Ayub was accompanied by few more persons who managed to escape while Ayub was caught hold of. Reports added that a group of youth caught him and the arguments got into blows, in which he pulled out a pistol from the holster and fired at the people, leaving three youth injured.
