Cong questions PM’s silence over US describing J&K as “Indian administered” territory

New Delhi: The Congress today demanded an answer from Prime Minister Narendra Modi as to why did he not protest against the US order describing Kashmir as “Indian administered J&K” given while designating Syed Salahuddin as international terrorist.
Addressing mediapersons here, senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said, “Why did the PM not protest to this phrase despite being on the US soil”.
Mr Azad also questioned the silence of the Ministers of External Affairs, Defence, Home and Information and Broadcasting and also the BJP in the context.
“Modiji and the BJP drum beat and preach pseudo nationalism everyday.
The people of India wants to know why have you accepted the US phrase of “Indian administered J&K,” the Congress leader said. (UNI)
