Kaithal: Three people, including two children, died of drowning in about ten-foot-deep water accumulated at under bridge on the Kaithal-Kurukshetra railway track on Sollumajra-Kheri Raiwali village road near here today.
The tragedy took place when two kids, identified as Naveen (12) of Kheri Raiwali and Akashdeep (13) of Dedna village of Patiala were moving on top of the underpass suddenly fell in the deep waters accumulated in underpass. An uncle of one of the kids who saw the children falling in water immediately rushed and jumped to rescue the drowning kids but no kid came out of deep water. (UNI)
