Two militants killed in south Kashmir
SRINAGAR: Clashes erupted near the site of a gunfight between militants and security forces in Bahmnoo village of Pulwama district of south Kashmir on Monday.
Official said that two militants have so far been killed in the gunfight while three more are believed to be trapped inside a house. An official said that gunfight erupted after a joint party of army, CRPF and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned off the village after a tip-off about the presence of militants. The tow militant killed in a gunfight were identified as Kifayat and Jehangir Khandey.
Meanwhile a youth was hit by a bullet after forces opened fire to disperse protesters near the site of a gunfight in Bahmnoo village. Reports said that the injured youth was identified as Jehangir Wagay
