India’s willingness to hold talks will end uncertainty in subcontinent: Democratic Freedom Party
Tributes paid to Ameerabad, Pulwama martyrs
SRINAGAR: The Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) on Monday said the uncertainty in Jammu Kashmir is detrimental to even India and Delhi’s huge expenditure on Kashmir could be utilised on the country’s development.
These remarks were made by DFP secretary general Moulana Abdullah Tari while extending the message of party chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah to the bereaved families of Ameerabad, Tral and Pulwama.
Tari, who was accompanied by party’s Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, Muhammad Yousuf Mir, Javaid Ahmad, Ghulam Muhammad, and other activists, expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved families of martyrs.
Addressing the condolence gathering, Moulana said New Delhi is pushing Kashmiri youth to the wall who are left with no option than to resist the oppression.
Hailing people’s pro-freedom sentiments, Tari said the presence of thousands in funeral prayers of martyrs is enough proof that the freedom movement of Jammu Kashmir is indigenous and is deep rooted in people’s hearts.
Extending Shabir Ahmad Shah’s message to people, the DFP secretary general said India through its stubbornness is not only ruining the lives of Kashmiris but also robbing its people of daily bread and butter.
“We believe the Kashmir dispute is to be resolved through UN resolutions or tripartite talks and have time and again stressed upon New Delhi to take steps in this regard but to no avail,” Tari while quoting Shah said.
Holding India responsible for prevailing political uncertainty in the South West Asia, Moulana Tari said if New Delhi shuns its rigid approach, the solution to all isuues can be found.
“The world community should reprimanded India for being responsible for increase in violence graph in the region,” he said.
