SRINAGAR: An Army Major was shot dead by a soldier in Uri sector in north Kashmir, official sources said today.
They said a soldier fired at a Major after some dispute. The officer died before he could be shifted to hospital, they said, adding that further details are awaited.
However, defence ministry spokesman was again not available to give details about the incident. (UNI)
