Fukki recovered in Budgam, Baramulla; 02 held
SRINAGAR: Continuing its drive against the drug menace, Jammu and Kashmir police has recovered a large quantity of Fukki in Budgam and Baramulla today.
On a tip off, a police party of Police party of police station Khan Sahib intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02AD-6027 at Nambalhar, Kremshore. On its checking police recovered 13 bags of Fukki. Two persons who were travelling in the vehicle were taken into custody.
They have been identified as Nazir Ahmad Wani son of Abdul Rehman Wani and Shakeel Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Nabi Bhat both resident of Watrad. A case FIR number 67/17 under section 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered and further investigation has been taken up.
Meanwhile, a police party headed by SHO police station Patten Saleem Mir under the supervision of SDPO Pattan Aamir Iqbal, following a tip off raid a residential house at Goshbugh and recovered a huge quantity of Fukki. A case has been registered in this regard and investigation is on.
