Two nabbed for issuing Aadhar Card on payment basis in Jammu
JAMMU: Two persons were arrested for allegedly making and issuing Aadhar cards on payment in this winter capital of the state.
“Two persons have been arrested for making Aadhar card of the people on payment basis in Talab Tillo area here,” police said today.
They said on specific information, a raid was conducted and two persons were caught for issuing Aadhar card document to the people.
“They were not authorised by any official department and were charging Rs 600 per Aadhar card,” police said.
Those arrested were identified as Anand Ram Sahu, resident of Chhattisgarh and Arun Pammu. (UNI)
