Ganderbal: Ganderbal police party on Tuesday destroyed bung cultivation in Shadipora area of Central Ganderbal.
The special drive was led by Dy.SP Headquarters Ganderbal, on the directions of SSP Ganderbal, a police party headed by DO Shadipora Younus Bashir conducted a drive against bung cultivators. During the drive bung cultivation spread over a vast patch of land at village Shadipora was destroyed.
As per the reports the team have started a special drive to destroy bung cultivation in Shadipora area of Ganderbal.
The team initiated the drive at Shadipora and it will continue till destruction of last hemp plant in the area, the team headed by Safapora and Lar police stations also destroyed a huge quantity of bung at Bypass area before some days.
The inhabitants of Ganderbal hailed the said action of police.
