Jammu: Four people, including a student and a teenager died while 31 got injured when a mini bus met with an accident due to break failure in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
”A mini bus on way from border village to Samba town this morning hit the wall of an Army Unit after its break failed,’’ police here said.
They said that the collision with the wall was so powerful that the passengers fell out of the windows and sustained critical injuries.
”Police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the district hospital,’’ they said.
Two persons died on the spot, two others succumbed on way to the hospital while 13 injured were referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu.
Three of the deceased were identified as Prem (28) resident of Sarthiya, Mehak (21) resident of Chilayari and Janu (15) resident of Khanwal.
