PAF training jet crashes near Sargodha in Punjab province
Islamabad: A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jet crashed during a training mission near Sargodaha in Pakistan’s Punjab province in the early hours today.
“PAF reports with regret that an F7-PG aircraft crashed near Sargodha while on a training mission.
Search and rescue operation is in progress,” Pakistan Daily Dawn said quoting a PAF statement.
The pilot ejected the aircraft safely.
“A board of inquiry has been ordered by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of [the] accident,” it said, adding that no loss of civilian life and property has been reported.
