New Delhi, Sept 24 : Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday mocked the ruling BJP and also had a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the police action against agitating girl students in Banaras Hindu University(BHU) .
”BJP version of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao,” Mr Gandhi tweeted taking a pot shot at the Prime Minister referring to his favourite scheme soon after the videos of the police using baton against the women students became public.
The university campus had last night witnessed strong protest by students against a case of eve teasing leading to lathi-charge by police. (UNI)
