KUPWARA: Central government had launched a scheme Saksha Baharat Abhiyan years ago in which dozens employees were assigned for that job. the employees who were assigned in the job were working in field from past couple of years and have even submitted all the reports they were assigned for.
But the SBM employees held a strong protest against the concerned department for lagging in their duty in order to provide them on time salary, as they SBM Employees alleged that the DIET kupwara never pay heed to all our problems we are facing at the times as we going in the worst times of our live said an employees who has worked under SBM scheme from past of years.
Employees also alleged that the DIET kupwara has failed to produce our legal documents and formalities to higher authorities and tha’ts why we are suffering at the time, we dozens of employees depend on that amount of money but department has surely failed to provide us our legal amount, employees.
the concerned employee who has to submit all the records so that our salaries would be released never paid heed to our problems and remain in the office for official hours and has done nothing so far, despite the govt has already released the funds of our scheme, even when we tried tio get details from DDC office kupwara they told that none of the employees from DIET has cam here so far regarding this issue otherwise it would have been resolved at the first in priority.
irony is that the scheme will be windup coming date 30 of the same month and till date our salaries aren’t out and its 27 today and DDC kupwara is going for leave for several days and without his permission all this will be near impossible and after 30 all the amount will get back to the govt and wont be provided to us , so we request higher authorities to look into this matter as soon as possible said a female employee.
while protesting angry protesters blocked the main entry door of the DIET kupwara and have set their on lock on the door and told that we wont allow anyone to pass unless our demands are fulfilled to the fullest, anti DIET and district administration slogans were also raised.
