Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Thursday evening reached the residence of Hurriyat (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani and had a one to one meeting with the octogenarian leader, sources said.
Geelani is undergoing house detention since 2010.
Sources said that earlier in the day Mirwaiz had a meeting with one of the executive leaders oh his conglomerate Bilal Gani Lone at his Sanat Nagar residence.
Sources said that Geelani and Mirwaiz held deliberations on the current situation and political scenario of Jammu Kashmir.
“They exchanged their views about the braid chopping incidents also,” sources sad.
