Kakinada, Oct 19 : Diwali crackers were distributed to the inmates of the Red Cross boys ashram high school for the disabled at a function held at the school premises in Pratap Nagar area on Thursday.
Gullapudi Babji a local trader and a philanthropist, who was the chief guest said that he was distributing the crackers and sweets on Diwali day to the school inmates as a gesture for the past twelve years in memory of his late father.
He said the he used to spend some time interacting with the disabled sharing their joy on every Diwali for the past several years.
