Srinagar: Affarwat-XI won its second Kashmir Premiere League T20 match against MSCC Srinagar at Shaheed Aga Syed Memorial Stadium on sunday here.
A 78-run opening partnership between Mir Hassan and Bhat Showkat saw Affarwat-XI to carry forward its second consecutive win in Kashmir Premiere League T20 2017.
MSCC Skipper won the toss and opt bat first ,MSCC Openers gave firy start of 109 runs in first 10 overs but middle order were send to defencive mode by the quality bowlers of Affarwat-XI like Enayat, Bhat Showkat,Saleem and Mir Hassan in last 10 overs, as MSCC Srinagar managed to set a target of 157/6 for Affarwat-XI.Irfan was the highest contributor with bat of 46 runs off 28 balls while Tariq hit 45 runs off 34 balls for MSCC srinagar.
Bhat Showkat Scalped 3 wickets while Enayat , Saleem and Mir Hassan took 1 wicket each for Affarwat-XI.
Mir Hassan hit powered knock of 53 runs off 25 balls consisting of 8 boundaries and 3 sixes while Showkat added useful 23 runs, Mehraj 20 runs , Obaid and Taymoor hit quick fire 16 runs each for Affarwat-XI to chase down the target of 157/4 runs in 17.3 overs and won the match by 6 wickets at Shaheed Aga Syed Memorial Stadium here on sunday.
Bhat Showkat was named as man of the match for his splendid allround performances.
