Forces allegedly thrash locals, vandalise property in Tral village

 

Srinagar: Massive clashes and protests erupted in Wagad area of south Kashmir’s Tral sub district on Monday after locals were allegedly thrashed and public property were vandalised by government forces in the area.

While talking to KPS, angry locals said that government forces allegedly thrashed and vandalised property worth lacs in many residential houses including window panes of a local Jamia Masjid , Motocycles , Vehicles and other materials.

 

Locals further said that, many youth were arrested after they resisted the vandalisation process of forces in the area.

When this reporter reached to the spot, soon after the vandalisation, Hundrends of angry mob from nearby areas were chanting anti-indian and pro-freedom slogans while as women folk and childrens were seen wailing to protest forces action.

Pertinently on Sunday , Forces thrash many locals in the same area, due to which shutdown is being observed in Tral sub district.
