3 bootleggers arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 3 : Jammu and Kashmir police arrested three bootleggers and recovered illicit liquor in the valley, a police spokesman said Friday evening.

He said two bootleggers identified as Ram Avaid and Rajesh Chowhan, both residents of Uttar Pradesh at present Saderbal were arrested during a naka checking by police.
Illicit liquor was recovered from their possession.

Bandipora police laid a naka at Gund Dachna under the jurisdiction of Police Station Aragam.
During naka checking 13 bottles of illicit liquor were seized from the possession of Mehraj Din Bhat, a resident of Plan Bandipora who were travelling in a bus.
