Bhopal, Nov 7: A woman was on Tuesday arrested for possessing four cartridges at the Raja Bhoj International Airport here, police said.
Mumbai-resident Shweta Mane – who was scheduled to board a flight for Mumbai – was caught with the cartridges by the Central Industrial Security Force personnel during checking.
She was later handed over to police.
“The woman had arrived to take part in a wedding at Bairagarh in the Madhya Pradesh capital.
She claimed that these cartridges belonged to her deceased maternal grandfather – who was serving in police,” Additional Superintendent of Police Sameer Yadav told UNI over telephone.
