Srinagar: J&K Pradesh Congress Committee today held strong protest demonstrations on the one year completion of demonetisation in the Country, in which Senior Party Functionaries, Legislators and Prominent Party activities participated and chanted slogans against the so called demonetization describing it as a move to hide the failure on the Part of BJP Govt at Centre.
According to PTK, the Protest March led by Former PCC President Peerzada Mohd. Syed started from Congress Party Headquarters Srinagar and ended up at Press Colony, Srinagar
Prior to the Protest Demonstration, Peerzada Mohd Syed and other Senior Leaders addressed the Party Workers at Congress Office and urged them to defeat the anti-people designs of the BJP PDP ruling dispensation, saying that they can go to any extent to hide failure.
Addressing the Party Workers Peerzada Mohd. Syed lashed out at Centre Govt for punishing people under the garb of demonetisation saying that BJP cannot escape the responsibility of losses caused due to demonetisation in the Country.
He blamed Centre especially Prime Minister for creating confusion, the demonetisation is a deliberate move to divert the attention of the people from the promises that were made by Narinder Modi to with the people before coming into power, Peerzada Said.
“When BJP realized that they could not fulfill any of the promise, they started misleading people on every count, particularly on so called demonetisation”, he said.
Speaking on the occasion Taj Mohiuddin said that people in the entire country have been pushed to wall due to demonetisation and the irony is that the BJP is celebrating it to hide it wrong policies and its failures.
Addressing the workers MLA Sopore Haji Ab.Rashid Dar & Former Minister & MLA Bandipora Usman blamed Prime Minister Narinder Modi for playing with the emotions of people in order to gain mileage, but I want tell the BJP especially Narinder Modi that he will no longer be able to befool people, as they (People) have realized that that BJP has betrayed them for the sake of power.
Among other who participated in the meeting included MLC Gulam Nabi Monga, Mohd Anwar Bhat Vice Presidents, Spokesperson Farooq Andrabi, Amreen Badre,Surinder Singh Channi, Shoiab Nabi Lone, Hilal Ahmad Shah, Shameem Iqbal, Shameema Raina, Irfan Naqib, Abid Kashmiri, Haji Farooq Mir, Abdul Gani Khan, Imtiyaz Parray, Zahid Hussain, Ab. Qayoom Shah, , Sahil Farooq, Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan, Jawahira, Reyaz Ahmad Shiekh, Mohd Yousuf Bhat, Umer Jan and others.
