Mumbai, Nov 9 : The rupee surged on Thursday by eleven paise to 64.85 against the US Dollar in early trade on selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Interbank Forex Market said here.
It registered intra day high and low at 64.96 and 64.85 respectively.
The local unit moved up today due to weak dollar against other world currencies alongwith rebounding equity market in opening trade, they added.
