Srinagar, Nov 9 : Life returned to normal on Thursday after remaining affected for two days due to shutdown in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, where three militants, including a Divisional Commander of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), were killed in a fierce encounter.
A soldier also was killed, while a civilian injured in the exchange of fire on Monday night.
One of the slain militants identified as Talha Rasheed, is nephew of JeM Pakistan-based chief Moulana Masood Azhar.
Shops and business establishments reopened and traffic was plying on all roads normally in Pulwama.
Work in government offices and banks was also normal and educational institutions also recorded maximum attendance.
