Tehsildar, SHO’s assurances pacify agitators

Pattan: People of Pattan protests blocked Srinagar Muzaffarabad National highway at Pattan against Power Development Department in North Kashmirs Pattan town on Friday.
Protesters residing in Tali Mohalla, Khanday Mohalla and Miyan Mohalla of Pattan gathered this morning and protested against the dysfunct transformer , due to which whole area is reeled under dark and is inconveniencing common people.
Protesters were seen angry and blocked national highway to arrest the attention of administration. Due to which whole town was packed in jam.
However administration acted swiftly and assured protests to redress their hardships on priority basis.
Tehsildar Pattan Mr Syed Faheem along with SHO Pattan Mr M.Saleem motivated protesters to unblock national highway and promised for redress of grievance at earlier.
Later protesters dispersed peacefully and national highway was restored.
