Gunmen loots cash from Bank Branch in South Kashmir

Tral, Dec 4: Unidentified gunmen Monday ransacked Noorpora Branch of Jammu Kashmir Bank in Tral town of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district and reportedly looted over one lakh cash.

   Reports said that a couple of armed men barged into the Branch and they not only intimidated the employees but also decamped with cash.

   A Bank employee said that Rs 1.54 lakh were looted by gunmen.

   “Before leaving the Branch, they fired a volley of shots in air creating fear psychosis among bank employees and customers.

   Police arrived on spot after the incident and started investigation.

   An official said that a manhunt has been launched to nab the gunmen. (CNS)
